credit bsyj2018girls.com @bsyj2018girls The JUEL Organization has committed both a JUEL and JUEL Prep franchise to Blessed Sacrament for the next 5 years.
The JUEL model will remain unchanged however the JUEL Prep model will now reflect that of the JUEL League. Specifically, JUEL Prep will no longer participate in Basketball Ontario events including the Ontario Cup. As a result of this, Blessed Sacrament has made organizational changes to align the club with this new direction. Glenn Hillis will take on the role of managing both the JUEL and JUEL Prep Teams. Glenn will remain as Head Coach of the JUEL Prep Team. He will also take on the lead role with the organizing of the Rep Coaches at all levels of the Girls' Program. This will include, but not be exclusive to, Coach Evaluations; Coach Training and Development and Coach Appointments. Glenn is entering his 15th year as a coach in the Blessed Sacrament Girls' program. Al Robertson has been appointed Head Coach of the Blessed Sacrament JUEL Team for the upcoming season. Al is a NCCP Level 3 Certified Coach and is currently the lead coach for the Hamilton Region of Basketball Ontario’s CP Program (Centre for Performance) – (2013 – 2015). Al has coached the Sr. Girls at Ancaster High School for the past 15 years and was the TIDP (Talent Identification & Development Program) Head Coach for the U15, U16 & U17 Girls the last 5 summers with Basketball Ontario. Long time Blessed Sacrament Coaches Tony Mosca and Michelle Abella will be on Al’s Staff as Assistant Coaches. Tryout times for both the JUEL and JUEL Prep Teams will be posted on the website in the coming weeks. Mikayla Dalipe - BISHOP RYAN HIGH SCHOOL 2018
